The wait for Jio Phone Next is going to end in a few days. This affordable smartphone of the company can be purchased from September 10. The pre-booking of the phone is expected to start from this week.


No information has been given by the company about the price and sale of the phone yet. However, ET Now has revealed the price and sale offers of Jio Phone Next. The special thing is that users can buy this phone for Rs 500.

Target to sell 50 million phones in 6 months

According to ET Now, this phone of Reliance Jio will come in two variants – Basic and Advanced. The price of its basic variant can be 5 thousand rupees and the price of the advanced variant can be 7 thousand rupees. According to the report, the company is targeting to sell 50 million units of Jio Phone Next in the next 6 months. To easily reach this target, the company is going to offer the phone to the users under the lucrative scheme.

Partnership with banks and finance companies

To reach the target of 50 million in 6 months, it is necessary that there should be rapid sales of Jio Phone Next. For this, the company has partnered with SBI, Piramal Capital, IDFC First Assure and DMI Finance. Along with SBI, the rest of the finance companies have assured Jio to give a business of 10 thousand crores. Apart from these, the company has also partnered with four non-banking finance companies for credit support of 2500 crores.


In this way, you can get Rs 500 in partnership with phone finance companies, Jio users are going to offer Jio Phone Next on 10 percent down payment of the original price of the phone. The rest of the amount will have to be paid by the user buying the phone in easy EMI. Accordingly, if it is seen that Jio Phone Next priced at Rs 5 thousand will be yours on payment of Rs 500 and Advance variant of Rs 7 thousand on payment of Rs 700. After this down payment, you can pay the remaining amount in EMI.
