The 12 cities that are getting the benefit of Reliance Jio’s 5G services include- Mumbai, Delhi, Hyderabad, Chennai, Varanasi, Kolkata, Pune, Gurugram, Noida, Ghaziabad, Bengaluru and Faridabad. If you live in these cities, you have a 5G phone and its software is on the latest version, then you should try changing the selected settings.

Activate 5G network in your phone like this

1. First open the settings of your 5G smartphone.
2. Now you have to go to Connections or Mobile Network option.
3. Here you have to choose 5G Network Mode.

If 5G network is available in your area then 5G connectivity will start getting in the phone. However, in case it doesn’t, you can switch to 4G to save battery.

Use 5G keeping these things in mind

Let us tell you, to take advantage of 5G connectivity, you must have a 5G smartphone, which is getting support for the relevant bands. Many 5G smartphones have not received the necessary software updates, due to which they are not providing 5G support. In such a situation, it is very important to keep the software update of your phone. Currently, Jio users are getting 5G services on all plans above Rs 239 without any extra payment.
