How to check status with acknowledgment number
According to the Income Tax Department, you can check your refund status after 10 days of filing ITR. If you want to check your ITR refund status through exposure number, here are the tips below:
- Login to Income Tax e-Filing Portal link
- Login using User ID and Password
- Go to My Account and click on Refund/Demand Status
- Go to the drop down menu, select ‘Income Tax Return’ and click on ‘Submit’ option
- Click on Acknowledgment Number
- All your ITR details including date of issue of refund will open on the new page
Check status through PAN card like this
Apart from the acknowledgment number, you can also check the refund status online through your PAN card. You can follow these steps to check refund of income tax return through PAN card.
- Login to https://tin.tin.nsdl.com/oltas/servlet/RefundStatusTrack
- Enter your PAN number and select assessment year 2022-23 and click on submit option
- After doing this your ITR refund status will open in front
