Actually, the new website of Income Tax Department will be closed on this Saturday (October 23) and Sunday (October 24) during a certain time period. Yes..Due to maintenance activity, this website will not work from 10 am tonight till 10 am tomorrow.
A notice is being written on the opening of the new Income Tax website, which says, “Caution: Due to pre-scheduled maintenance activity, the website will not work from 10 pm on Saturday night to 10 am on Sunday.”
All these tasks will be affected
during this time for you to file ITR, register yourself as legal heir, register your digital signature for verification of tax return, download your Form 26AS among other tasks. Will not be able to access the e-filing website.
