ITR will not be considered complete without verification

Let us tell you that if you have not done your verification after filling the ITR, then your ITR will be considered incomplete. Earlier, 120 days were available for e-verification, which has now been reduced to 30 days. However, according to a notification issued by the Income Tax Department, those who have filed their ITR by July 31 will get 120 days for verification.

But those who have filed their ITR on or after August 1 will get only 30 days for verification. In such a situation, for those who filed returns on August 1, this deadline ends on August 31.

Verification will be like this

Explain that until the verification work is not completed, then the return filing will be considered incomplete. This work can be completed by visiting the website of Income Tax Department. If a taxpayer wants to do offline verification, he can do speed post to the Bangalore office of Income Tax Department with the help of post.

The calculation for verification will be 120 or 30 days depending on the date on which the return is filed. If a taxpayer filed his return on August 1, then his deadline would be August 31.
