ITR E-verification: E-verification is necessary after ITR filing, otherwise you may be fined

Why is e-verification important?

This is how you can do e-verification of ITR

To do e-verification of ITR, first of all you have to click on ‘e-verify return’ of its e-filing portal. You will be required to enter your PAN, assessment year for which the verification is being done (2023-24), and acknowledgment number. Apart from this, you can also optionally log in using your PAN and password. After this you have to go to my account and click on e-verify return. After this a new page will open in front of you where you will see the file for which verification is to be done. After this you can complete your verification through OTP on the mobile number linked to Aadhaar.
