Jammu
, situated on the banks of the Tawi River, is the largest city in the Jammu region of the Indian state of Jammu and Kashmir, as well as the winter capital of Jammu and Kashmir. Due to the abundance of many old and new temples in the city, it is also called “City of Temples”. This city is situated between the low uneven hills and dunes of Shivalik ranges. In the north-east and south-east it is surrounded by Shivaliks and in the north-west direction is the Trikuta range.


Srinagar 
Srinagar is the capital of the Jammu and Kashmir province. Nestled in the middle of the Kashmir Valley, this city is one of the major tourist destinations in India. Srinagar is famous for Dal Lake and temples.

Srinagar, situated at an altitude of 1700 meters, is especially known for its lakes and houseboats. Srinagar is the summer capital of the state of Jammu and Kashmir. This city and its surrounding areas are considered to be the most beautiful tourist destinations in the world.

Boats called Shikaras are used for visiting Dal Lake and Jhelum river here, for roaming and for market and shopping. There are also many beautiful boats floating houses on Dal Lake, which are decorated with lotus flowers, which are called houseboats. Some distance away from Srinagar is a very old Martand (Sun) temple.

Gulmarg 
Gulmarg is a hill station in Jammu and Kashmir. Due to its beauty, it is also called the heaven of the earth. Known as the land of flowers, this place is located in Baramulla district. The lush green slopes here attract tourists towards them.

Sonmarg 
Sonmarg is also known as Sonamarg. It is a hill station situated at an altitude of 3000 meters in Ganderbal district. It is in the valley of a river called Sind Nala (separated from the Indus River). There are high mountains ahead of Sonmarg and many famous glaciers are located.

Katra
Katra city is famous for Mata Vaishno Devi. It is located about 45 kms from Jammu city. The climb to Mata Vaishno Devi starts from Katra itself.

The fare of this tour package of eight days and seven nights is Rs 21,865 per person. The fare for children (5-11 years) is Rs 13,665.
