IRCTC-SBI RuPay Card: Railway Minister Piyush Goyal launched new card, know the features and benefits of this card

New Delhi, Business Desk. Union Minister Piyush Goyal launched the IRCTC-SBI RuPay Card on Tuesday. Goyal, while launching this card in a virtual program, informed that this card is equipped with many features. He informed that on booking the train tickets of AC-1, AC-2, AC-3, AC and CC class with this card, 10% value will be available as back reward points. This card will benefit people traveling frequently from Indian Railways.

Railway Minister Goyal said that one reward point will be worth one rupee. These rewards points can be used by card holders to book tickets for free from IRCTC.

Let us know what are the main features of which card:

If you apply for this card by 31 March 2021, then you will not have to pay any joining fee.
On this card you will get 350 Activation Reward Points.
Apart from this, a transaction fee of one percent will be waived for booking tickets through IRCTC website.
Apart from this, one percent fuel surcharge will be waived for filling petrol or diesel at any petrol pump.
Discounts will be available on e-commerce websites like Big Basket, OXXY, foodfortravel.in, Ajio.
This card can be used for contactless transactions.
The card is equipped with Near Field Communication (NFC) technology. Customers only need to tap the card on the Secure Reader for convenient, secure and quick transactions.
Apart from this, Rupe is also offering a discount of 20% on the purchase of medicines from MedLife, 25% discount on FITernity, subscription of one month of Hungama Music for one rupee and shopping on other portals.

State Bank of India (SBI) Chairman Rajneesh Kumar said that the number of frequent passengers traveling by railways in India is very high and there is a lot of scope for a credit card to meet the needs of such passengers. IRCTC SBI Card was launched in 2006 and is one of the best performing travel products of SBI Card. With the launch of this flagship product on the RuPay network, more people will be able to take advantage of the features of this card
