IRCTC News Update: Due to the Corona epidemic across the country, the railway systems are not operating properly for the last one and a half years.



Due to which many facilities were closed by the railways. But now once again everything is slowly returning to normal, due to which the old facilities are being restored again. Northern Railway has restored Monthly Season Ticket (MST) facility from 3rd September. But at present this facility has been given only on the journey of limited trains.

This facility will be available in 56 trains

MST facility has been restored for only 56 trains. Speaking to News18, Northern Railway spokesperson Deepak Kumar said that the prices of MST have not been changed. He remains as before. Since this facility is available only in limited trains, so if you are found using MST in any other train then you will have to pay penalty.

MST will be made for these passenger and MEMU trains in Northern Railway

Train No. 04203 & 04204 Lucknow-Faizabad-Lucknow

Train No. 04213/04214 Lucknow-Kanpur-Lucknow

Train No. 04201/04202 Varanasi-Pratapgarh-Varanasi Express

Train No. 04267/04268 Varanasi-Pratapgarh-Varanasi Passenger

Train No. 04263/04264 Varanasi-Sultanpur-Varanasi Passenger

MST preparation on these routes also

Lucknow to Rae Bareli

Lucknow to Sitapur

Lucknow to Barabanki

Old MST will not be used


Railway officials said that the MST made before the first wave of Corona was canceled in March. All MSTs of daily commuters made at that time have been disabled by the Railways. In their place, daily commuters will now have to make MST afresh and under the new rule. In trains which will not have MST facility, passengers will have to travel by buying tickets.
