In view of the rush of passengers in the summer, the Central Railway has decided to run summer special trains. Central Railway said on Saturday that it will run 5 summer special trains which will make 96 trips. These trains will run between Pune-Jaipur/Karmali, Mumbai-Shalimar, Panvel-Karmali and Nagpur-Margao from next month. Booking of tickets for these trains has started at all computerized reservation centers and website www.irctc.co.in.

Railways has said that “Booking for Special Trains 01403/01404, 01405/01406, 01201/01202 and Superfast AC Special Numbers 01401 and 01019 on Special Charge on 19th March at all computerized reservation centers and website www.irctc.co.in Will open At the same time, while issuing the guidelines, the Railways has said that passengers traveling in long distance trains will have to follow proper Covid behavior.
List of summer special trains
- Train No. 01019 Special will leave Lokmanya Tilak Terminus at 8.15 hrs on every Tuesday from 12th April to 14th June and will reach Shalimar at 5.15 am on the third day.
- Train No. 01020 Special will leave Shalimar at 5.35 pm on every Thursday from 14 April to 16 June and will reach Lokmanya Tilak Terminus at 11.45 pm the next day. This train will stop at Kalyan, Nashik Road, Bhusaval, Akola, Badnera, Wardha, Nagpur, Gondia, Durg, Raipur, Bilaspur, Jharsuguda, Rourkela, Chakradharpur, Tata Nagar, Kharagpur, Santragachi stations.
- Train No. 01405 Special will leave Panvel every Saturday from 9th April to 4th June at 10 PM and will reach Karmali at 8 AM the next day.
- Train No. 01406 Special will leave Karmali at 9.20 am on every Saturday from April 9 to June 4 and will reach Panvel at 8 pm on the same day.
- Train No. 01403 Special will leave Pune at 5.30 pm on Friday from April 8 to June 3 and will reach Karmali at 8 am the next day.
- Train No. 01404 Special will leave Karmali at 9.20 am on every Sunday from April 10 to June 5 and will reach Pune at 11.35 pm on the same day.
- Train No. 01401 Special will leave Pune at 00.30 hrs on every Tuesday from 12 April to 14 June and will reach Jaipur at 11.10 hrs on the same day.
- Train No. 01402 Special will leave Jaipur at 00.35 hrs on Wednesday from 13th April to 15th June and will reach Panvel at 8.00 hrs on the same day.
- Train No. 01201 Special will leave Nagpur at 3.50 pm every Saturday from 9th April to 11th June and will reach Madgaon at 5.30 pm the next day.
- Train No. 01202 Special will leave Madgaon at 8.15 hrs every Sunday from 10 April to 12 June and will reach Nagpur at 8.10 hrs the next day.
