If you are canceling your ticket 48 hours before the train journey, then the railways deducts the cancellation charge per passenger. In AC First Class, a charge of Rs 240 is deducted per passenger. At the same time, this deduction in AC two tier is Rs 200. In AC 3 tier, the cancellation charge is Rs 180. At the same time, cancellation charge of Rs 120 is deducted in sleeper class. In 2nd class, Rs 60 is deducted as cancellation charge.

On the other hand, if you are canceling your ticket between 12 to 48 hours of travel, then your 25 percent cancellation charge will be deducted. In this, GST is added separately. In such a situation, you must know about these rules related to ticket cancellation.
