IRCTC/Indian Railways: Railways has made elaborate arrangements for the people who come to Bihar for Chhath Puja. After the worship, festive special trains are being run continuously by the Railways for the people going back from Bihar to other states, so that the passengers do not face any problem in traveling.
According to Chief Public Relations Officer Rajesh Kumar, in view of the number of passengers after Chhath festival, many festival special trains are being operated from different stations of East Central Railway between New Delhi, Anand Vihar Terminus, Howrah, Amritsar.

Train No. with New 3 AC Economy Coach – (01683) Patna – Anand Vihar Terminus Gati Shakti Super Fast Festival Special Express train will leave Patna at 5.45 hrs on 12th November, 14th November, 16th November and 18th November and will leave Anand Vihar at 09.50 hrs the next day. Terminus will be reached. This special train will stop at Danapur, Pt. Deen Dayal Upadhyay Junction, Varanasi, Prayagraj Junction and Kanpur Central Station.
Train No.- (01684) Anand Vihar Terminus – Patna Gati Shakti Super Fast Festival Special Express train – will leave Anand Vihar Terminus at 11.10 hrs on 13th November, 15th November and 17th November and will reach Patna at 3.45 hrs, the next day.
Train No- (03358) Danapur – Howrah Chhath Special Train will leave Danapur at 2.30 hrs on 12.11.2021, Patna at 2.50 hrs, Bakhtiyarpur at 3.40 hrs, Mokama at 4.10 hrs, Kiul at 5.23 hrs, halting at Jhajha at 6.50 hrs on 13.11.2021. Will reach Howrah at 02.00 hrs. This special train will have 10 sleeper class and 6 general class coaches.
Train No- (03695) Rajgir – Anand Vihar Terminus Festival Special train will leave Rajgir at 2.45 hrs on 13.11.2021 & 16.11.2021 , Biharsharif at 3.15 hrs, Bakhtiyarpur at 4.00 hrs, Patna at 5.10 hrs, Arrah at 5.48 hrs, Buxar at 8.40 hrs. It will reach Anand Vihar Terminus at 10.30 hrs the next day stopping at Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyay Junction. This special train will have 18 coaches of ordinary class.
Train No.- (03696) Anand Vihar Terminus – Rajgir Festival Special train will leave Anand Vihar at 12.30 hrs on 14.11.2021 & 17.11.2021 and will reach Rajgir at 7.00 hrs, the next day.
Train No- (03679) Rajgir – Anand Vihar Terminus Festival Special Train will leave Rajgir at 2.45 hrs on 12.11.2021, 15.11.2021 & 18.11.2021, Biharsharif at 3.15 hrs, Bakhtiyarpur at 4.00 hrs, Patna at 5.10 hrs, Arrah at 5.48 hrs, 6.53 Buxar at 8.40 hrs, leaving Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyay Junction at 8.40 hrs to reach Anand Vihar Terminus at 10.30 hrs, the next day. Train No.- (05583) Banmankhi – Amritsar Festival Special train will leave Banmankhi at 06.30 hrs on 12.11.2021, 16.11.2021 & 20.11.2021 and will reach Amritsar at 5.00 hrs, the next day. This special train between Banmankhi and Amritsar will stop at Murliganj, Daurabh Madhepura, Saharsa, Khagaria, Begusarai, Barauni, Shahpur Patori, Hajipur stations of East Central Railway. This special train will have 18 coaches of ordinary class.
Train No.- (05584) Amritsar – Banmankhi Festival Special train will leave Amritsar at 8.35 hrs on 13.11.2021, 17.11.2021 & 21.11.2021 and will reach Banmankhi at 00.30 hrs, the next day.
Train No.- (08010) Patna – Shalimar Festival Special train will leave Patna on 14.11.2021 at 3.15 hrs and will reach Shalimar at 09.10 hrs, the next day. This special train will stop at Rajendranagar Terminal, Patna Sahib, Fatuha, Bakhtiyarpur, Mokama, Kiul etc. This special train will have 2 coaches each in AC second class and AC third class, 12 in sleeper class and 3 in general class.
Train No.- (08112) Patna-Tatanagar Festival Special train will leave Patna on 15.11.2021 at 3.15 hrs and will reach Tatanagar at 05.05 hrs, the next day. This special train will stop at Rajendranagar Terminal, Patna Sahib, Fatuha, Bakhtiyarpur, Mokama, Kiul etc. In this special train, 1-1 coaches of air-conditioned second class and air-conditioned third class, 9 sleeper class and 9 general class coaches will be there.
