IRCTC Holi Special Train: Railway security forces are being deployed to provide entry to passengers in unreserved coaches. They are controlling the crowd by forming queues at Karnachari terminus stations.

IRCTC Holi Special Train: Passengers please pay attention! In this festive season of Holi, Indian Railways has made a big announcement for the convenience of railway passengers. Railways is running 540 train services to reduce the extra rush of passengers. These train services will provide great relief to the people from Uttar Pradesh and Bihar to Maharashtra. Railways said that Delhi-Patna, Delhi-Bhagalpur, Delhi-Muzaffarpur, Delhi-Saharsa, Gorakhpur-Mumbai, Kolkata-Puri, Guwahati-Ranchi, New Delhi-Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra, Jaipur-Bandra Terminus, Pune-Danapur, Special trains are being run on routes like Durg-Patna, Barauni-Surat etc. Railways said that trains have been planned on these routes to connect major destinations across the country.

Railways said in a press release that Railway Protection Force (RPF) personnel are being deployed to provide entry to passengers in unreserved coaches. They are controlling the crowd by forming queues at Karnachari terminus stations. Additional RPF personnel have been deployed at major stations to ensure the safety of passengers.

Apart from this, officers have been deployed on emergency duty at major stations to ensure that trains continue to run without any hindrance. Staff have been deployed in various sections to remove any disruption in train service on priority basis. Measures have also been taken for frequent and timely announcement of arrival/departure of trains along with platform numbers.

Some trains running from Porbandar will remain canceled till 30th April

In Western Railway, some trains running from Porbandar of Bhavnagar division of Gujarat will remain completely canceled till April 30. According to Divisional Railway spokesperson, due to the ongoing repair work on the pit line of Porbandar station, Western Railways had decided to completely cancel some trains running from Porbandar till April 14. Now it has been decided to extend this period till April 30. For this reason the following trains will now remain completely canceled till 30th April. Train No. 09516/09515 Porbandar – Kanalus – Porbandar, Train No. 09552/09551 Porbandar – Bhanwad – Porbandar, Train No. 09549/09550 Porbandar – Bhanwad – Porbandar and Train No. 09565/09568 Porbandar – Bhavnagar – Porbandar will remain completely canceled till 30th April.

Railways will run two pairs of unreserved Holi special trains

For the convenience of passengers and to meet their travel demand during this Holi festival, Western Railway has decided to run unreserved special trains on special fares. The details of these special trains are as follows. Train No. 09097/09098 Udhna-Barauni Unreserved Special Train [2 Trips]: Train No. 09097 Udhna-Barauni Special will depart from Udhna at 1100 hrs on Thursday, March 21 and reach Barauni at 2100 hrs the next day. Similarly, Train No. 09098 Barauni-Udhna Special will depart from Barauni at 2300 hrs on Friday, March 22 and will reach Udhna at 1000 hrs on Sunday. This train will stop at Chalthan, Bardoli, Nandurbar, Bhusaval, Khandwa, Itarsi, Jabalpur, Katni, Satna, Manikpur, Prayagraj Chhivki, Pt. Deen Dayal Upadhyay, Buxar, Arrah, Patliputra and Hajipur stations in both directions. This train will have second class general coaches.

Train No. 09009/09010 Udhna-Samastipur Unreserved Special Train [2 Trips]: Train No. 09009 Udhna-Samastipur Special will depart from Udhna at 2210 hrs on Friday, March 22 and reach Samastipur at 0530 hrs on Sunday. Similarly, Train No. 09010 Samastipur-Udhna Special will depart from Samastipur at 0730 hrs on Sunday, March 24 and reach Udhna at 1700 hrs on Monday. This train will stop at Chalthan, Bardoli, Nandurbar, Jalgaon, Bhusaval, Khandwa, Itarsi, Jabalpur, Katni, Satna, Prayagraj Chhivki, Pt. Deen Dayal Upadhyay, Buxar, Arrah, Danapur, Patliputra, Sonpur, Hajipur and Muzaffarpur stations in both directions. . This train will have second class general coaches.
