Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation Limited (IRCTC) has said that its website is fully secured and protected. Dismissing all the news, IRCTC has clearly said that no person can cancel the ticket of any other user without his user login ID and password. That is, IRCTC is completely safe.

According to the news of PTI, recently a case of giving information about a ‘bug’ in the e-ticketing platform by a class XII student came to light. However, let us tell you that the IRCTC’s technology team took action on the information of the student and fixed the problem immediately. Let us tell you that the problem was fixed by IRCTC on 2nd September.

IRCTC has told that its website is fully protected and secure. That is, no one’s privacy ends in this. IRCTC has also said that there is regular third party audit of the website. This e-ticketing platform of Railways is completely safe system with unique cyber security technology of its kind. It fully protects the network, system and application layer.

This system is regularly audited by security auditors. The IRCTC website also ensures the security of bank transactions of the users. And whenever information about a ‘bug’ or any other problem is received from any user or person, immediate action is taken on it.

Student gave information

According to PTI news, P Ranganathan, a class 12 student studying in a private school in Tambaram, Chennai, had complained of a ‘bug’ on the IRCTC website on August 30. This information was given to the Indian Computer Emergency Response Team (CERT-In).





IRCTC’s technology team took immediate action and fixed the problem on 2nd September. ‘ In this report it was a matter that through ‘bug’ one can take information of someone else. IRCTC clearly says that this is not possible at all. Its platform is completely secure.
