IndiGo Salary Hike: Indigo pilots and crew salaries increased by 8%, implemented from August 1, know details

IndiGo Salary Hike: Giving good news to its pilots and cabin crew members, IndiGo has increased their salary by 8 percent.


New Delhi. India’s largest airline Indigo has decided to re-implement 8 per cent of the deducted salary of its pilots and cabin crew. The increased salary will be applicable from August 1. In this way, the total salary of pilots and cabin crew has been restored to 16 percent of the pre-covid salary. When airline traffic was reduced during the Corona virus infection, the company had cut the salary of its employees.

Let us inform that IndiGo currently operates about 1,600 flights daily – domestic and international.

IndiGo employees who went on sick leave to join Air India,

55 per cent of IndiGo’s domestic flights were delayed on July 2, as a large number of crew members took leave in the name of illness. Sources had told that the crew members had gone on such leave to join the recruitment drive of Air India. When asked about the matter, aviation regulator DGCA chief Arun Kumar said on Sunday, “We are looking into it.”

IndiGo suspended some pilots

on April 4 IndiGo CEO Ronjoy Dutta had told employees on April 8 through an email that raising wages is a difficult issue, but the airline will continuously review and adjust salaries based on its profitability and competitive environment.
