IndiGo New Flights: India’s leading airline IndiGo has made another big announcement and announced the start of daily direct flights between Mumbai and Adampur (Jalandhar) in Punjab. This service is starting from 2 July 2025 and with this Adampur will become IndiGo’s 92nd domestic and 133rd total destination.
This new direct flight will provide convenient options for both business and tourism travelers. It will especially help in connecting the agricultural and industrial areas of Punjab to the major ports of Mumbai, which will increase business opportunities. Along with this, this connectivity will provide local businesses access to national and international markets and strengthen the regional economy.
IndiGo’s Global Sales Head Mr. Vinay Malhotra said, “As part of our aim to strengthen regional connectivity, we are announcing special direct flights between Mumbai and Adampur. This will provide a fast, accessible and hassle-free travel option, as well as connect two culturally and economically important regions of India.”
Why is flight service necessary between these cities?
Adampur is a major town located in Jalandhar district, which is not only known for its Air Force Station, but also for its tourist attractions like Rangla Punjab Haveli, Devi Talab Temple, Pushpa Gujral Science City and Wonderland Theme Park. This new flight service will make access to these places easier.
At the same time, Mumbai, the country’s economic capital and the hub of Bollywood, is the busiest business and cultural center of West India. In such a situation, this direct connection will further reduce the distance between North and West India.

- 6E 5931: Mumbai to Adampur – Departure: 12:55 pm | Arrival: 3:15 pm
- 6E 5932: Adampur to Mumbai – Departure: 3:50 pm | Arrival: 6:30 pm
