This facility will start in these trains
According to media reports, Indian Railways will soon start Train Hostess service in premium trains. Initially, this service will be available in premium trains like Vande Bharat Express, Gatiman Express and Tejas Express. At present, this service will not be provided in long distance premium trains like Rajdhani Express and Duranto Express.
Men will also be made train hostesses
According to the information, not only women will be recruited as train hostess, but men will also be selected for this. These train hostesses will provide service only during the day. Their duty will not be imposed during the night. According to a railway official, these hostesses will be professional in the same way as air hostesses in planes. For this, all train hostesses will also be given training by the Railways.
Facility will be available in trains traveling in short time
IRCTC official said that the main objective of appointment of hostess in premium trains is to provide better facilities to the passengers, who will help the passengers to board and disembark and deliver food and drink to their seats. The official said that there is a plan to deploy one woman and one man as train hostess in one compartment of the train. Train hostesses will be deployed in only those trains, which complete their journey in 12 to 18 hours.
Food like home
Let us tell you, at present, Indian Railways runs about 25 premium trains, which include Shatabdi Express, Gatimaan Express, one Tejas Express and two Vande Bharat trains. Recently, another important step was taken by the Railways for better passenger convenience, under which fresh cooked food will also be served in these trains instead of packaged products.
