Indian Railways: These trains will be cancelled, short terminated and diverted on Delhi-Ambala route, see full details

Indian Railways: RCC on bridge between Badli-Holambi Kalan and Sonipat-Sandal Kalan stations on Delhi-Ambala section from Northern Railway side. Box installation is in progress.


Due to this work, traffic blocks of four hours each will be taken on April 10. Due to this many trains especially New Delhi-Kurukshetra Special, Kurukshetra-Delhi Jn. Special and Amritsar-New Delhi-Amritsar Intercity Express trains are being cancelled. At the same time, many trains will be diverted, regulated and stopped with partial cancellation.

Due to this many trains especially New Delhi-Kurukshetra Special, Kurukshetra-Delhi Jn. Special and Amritsar-New Delhi-Amritsar Intercity Express trains are being cancelled. At the same time, many trains will be diverted, regulated and stopped with partial cancellation. Passengers traveling by trains of this route should get the information of all the concerned trains from the inquiry numbers so that they do not face any problem.

Cancelled trains

– 04449 New Delhi-Kurukshetra Special and 04452 Kurukshetra-Delhi Jn running on 10.04.2022. Special trains will remain cancelled.

– 12460/12459 Amritsar-New Delhi-Amritsar Intercity Express trains running on 10.04.2022 will remain cancelled.

Partially canceled trains

14508 Fazilka-Delhi Jn which has started its journey on 10.04.2022. The Express will terminate its journey at Ambala. As a result, 14507 Delhi Jn-Fazilka Express running on 10.04.2022 will start its journey from Ambala. Train No. 14507/14508 will remain partially canceled between Delhi Jn and Ambala.

Train diversion

  • 15708 Amritsar-Katihar Express, which will start its journey on 10.04.2022, will run via Ambala-Saharanpur-Meerut City-Khurja Barasta.
  • 12925 Bandra Terminus-Amritsar Paschim Express and 12715 Nanded-Amritsar Sachkhand Express scheduled to start journey on 09.04.2022 will be diverted via Barasta New Delhi-Delhi Jn.-Ghaziabad-Meerut City-Saharanpur-Ambala.
  • The 22125 Nagpur-Amritsar Express, which will commence journey on 09.04.2022, will be diverted via New Delhi-Shakoorbasti-Rohtak-Jakhal-Dhuri-Ludhiana by way of Barasta.

Trains rescheduled

  • 12046 Chandigarh – New Delhi Shatabdi Express running on 10.04.2022 will depart 90 minutes behind schedule.
  • 12926 Amritsar – Bandra Terminus Paschim Express running on 10.04.2022 will depart 60 minutes from its scheduled time.
  • 12057 New Delhi – Una Jan Shatabdi Express running on 10.04.2022 will depart 70 minutes behind schedule.

Stop trains

  • 20807 Visakhapatnam-Amritsar Express running on 09.04.2022 will be diverted for 65 minutes enroute.
  • Dated 10.04.2022 22430 Pathankot-Delhi Jn. The express will be run by stopping for 30 minutes en route.
  • 12752 JAMMU-NANDED EXPRESS running on 10.04.2022 will be halted for 25 minutes enroute.
