Indian Railways: Doubling of 117 km long Bhatni-Aundihar rail section is being done in Varanasi division of North Eastern Railway at a cost of Rs 1177 crore.
In the same sequence, work of doubling of rail line between Indara-Kidiharapur railway stations located on Aundihar-Bhatni rail section and pre-non interlocking from 11 to 25 March for yard remodeling work of Indara station, non-interlocking from 26 to 30 March work has to be done.

Due to all these works, many trains passing through the Indara-Kidiharapur rail section will be affected. Railway has shared the details of the affected trains.

Trains running on diverted route
- Train number- 04652, Amritsar-Jaynagar special train running from Amritsar on 10, 12, 15, 17, 19, 22, 24, 26 and 29 March, 2023 diverted route instead of its scheduled route Lucknow-Barabanki-Shahganj-Chhapra It will run via Lucknow-Barabanki-Gorakhpur-Chhapra route.
- Train number- 04651, Jaynagar-Amritsar special train running from Jaynagar on 12, 14, 17, 19, 21, 24, 26 and 28 March, 2023, instead of its scheduled route Chhapra-Shahganj-Barabanki-Lucknow, diverted route Chhapra- It will be run via Gorakhpur-Barabanki-Lucknow route.
- Train number- 09466, Darbhanga-Ahmedabad special train running from Darbhanga on March 13, 20 and 27, 2023 diverted route Chhapra-Gorakhpur-Mankapur instead of its scheduled route Chhapra-Ballia-Indara-Mau-Shahganj-Ayodhya Cantt-Barabanki -Ayodhya will be run through Cantt-Barabanki route.
- Train number- 15050 Gorakhpur-Kolkata Express leaving Gorakhpur on 15, 18, 22, 25 and 29 March, 2023 will be diverted via Bhatni-Siwan-Chhapra instead of its scheduled route Bhatni-Mau-Indara-Ballia-Chhapra. Will be run from

- Train number- 14650, Amritsar-Jaynagar Express leaving Amritsar on March 25, 2023 will run via diverted route Shahganj-Jaunpur-Ghazipur City-Chhapra instead of its scheduled route Shahganj-Mau-Indara-Fafna-Chhapra.
- After doubling with yard remodeling and electrification of railway line, the line capacity of Mau-Indara rail section will increase and the line capacity of Indara-Bhatni section will also increase. Due to which sufficient block will be available for doubling the rest of the section and the movement of trains will be easy. Along with this, provision will also be made for connection to Dohrighat. Along with this, trains on electrified traction will get faster speed and crossing time will be saved after doubling, which will also save operating time.
