Indian Railways IRCTC Alert Railway has brought a big gift for the passengers in the new year. During the Corona period, there was a need to make reservations in the general bogie also so that there would be minimum crowd in the trains. But now the Railways has made a big change in this rule.

Covid 19 affected the whole world. When its transition started from 22 March 2020, Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced Janata curfew on the first day. After this, the lockdown was imposed for the first seven days. Gradually its duration was extended and the crisis of lockdown prevailed in the whole country for three months. This had a direct impact on the trains as well.

Due to the lockdown, for the first time in the history of the country, the wheels of passenger trains stopped. However, some trains were started from June 1 so that the workers who went to work in other states could return to their homes safely. However, in view of the increasing infection of Kovid 19, the Central Government and the Railway Board changed the rules.

Reserved tickets in general class coaches also

We all know how the passengers travel in the normal compartment of the train. In such a situation, to prevent infection, the central government made it mandatory to reserve tickets in general class coaches as well. That is, as many seats, as many tickets and as many passengers. So that the passengers can be safely transported to their destination while saving them from the crowd.

Reservation rules changed from January 1

The Ministry of Railways has made new changes in the rules of reservation from January 1, 2022. Under which earlier reserved tickets were made mandatory in general class coaches as well. The Ministry of Railways has removed this rule. Now Tatkal tickets will be given to the passengers for general category.

There will be convenience in these trains passing through Tatanagar station

Every day 25 to 30 pairs of passenger trains operate from Tatanagar Railway Station.
