New Delhi. The movement of trains has been affected again in the Chhath festival and festive season. Some trains are running late while Indian Railways has canceled 88 trains and partially canceled 22 trains. Due to this inconvenience, lakhs of railway passengers may have to face trouble today.

The canceled and delayed trains include Mail Express, Special and Super Fast category trains. These trains are going to and from other states including Maharashtra, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Punjab, Jharkhand and West Bengal.

16 trains running late
16 trains are running late on 31st October. In these, the superfast special from Anand Vihar Terminal to Patna Junction is 6 hours late. At the same time, Bhatni-Varanasi Express, Mau-Chapra, Firozpur-Ludhiana, Ahmedabad-Howrah, Amritsar-Bamankhi Express are also running late by three hours to one hour. Due to the delay in these trains, passengers going to and from other states including Delhi, Bihar and Punjab may have to face problems. Therefore, before leaving for the journey, definitely check the status of your vehicle.

88 trains canceled
At the same time, Indian Railways has canceled 88 trains today. These include Pune-Danapur Special, Pathankot-Volcano Express, Pathankot-Joginder Nagar Express and Anand Vihar Terminal-Udhampur Special among other trains. All these trains mainly pass through many cities of Bihar, UP, Delhi and Punjab.

22 trains partially canceled
On October 31, the Railways has partially canceled 22 trains i.e. these trains will not run from some stations. These include Varanasi-Patna MEMU Passenger, Purulia-Asansol Special, Hisar-Rewari Express, Jaizon Doaba-Jalandhar City Special, Kathgodam-Moradabad Special.
