Railways Is Working On A Plan To Run ‘Gurdwara Circuit Train’ For Sikh Pilgrims. The 11-Day Yatra, Starting And Ending In Amritsar, Punjab, Will Cover At Least Four Major Gurdwaras. These Include Harminder Sahib In Amritsar, Patna Sahib In Bihar’s Capital Patna, Hazur Nanded Sahib In Nanded, Maharashtra And Damdama Sahib In Bathinda.
This Train Will Have Multiple Stoppages Including Ambala, Saharanpur, Lucknow, Manmad, Surat, Ahmedabad, Jaipur, Bathinda And Amritsar. This Circuit Will Be Completed In 11 Days. Presently The Details Of Gurdwara Circuit Special Train Are Being Finalized And Will Be Made Public Soon.
This Train Will Have Sleeper And AC Coaches And The Fare Will Be Decided By The Operator. Along With This, A Pantry Car Will Also Be Arranged In The Train, But Passengers Will Have To Book Food In Advance. Sources Associated With The Ministry Of Railways Said That In The Last Few Years, The Railways Is Working On Many Such Schemes. Its Purpose Is To Make Common People Aware Of The Cultural And Religious Heritage Of The Country. Gurdwara Circuit Will Be The Newest Project After Ramayana Circuit And Buddha Circuit.
