Indian Railways New Service: Good news! Now there will be no long line for tickets, service started at these stations, know full details

Indian Railways has installed 2 ATVM machines at the north end of Koderma station and 1 at the south end. In this, the option of English, Hindi and Bengali language has been given. The name of the station for which the ticket is to be made will have to be written.



ATVMs (Automatic Ticket Vending Machines) are being installed at railway stations to reduce the long queues. From here passengers can make their own unreserved tickets. Along with this, you will also be able to pay through QR code and Paytm app. This facility has been started at Koderma station. At about half a dozen stations including Dhanbad of Dhanbad Railway Division, ATVMs have started the facility of making self-tickets like Metro and paying them through digital medium.

The Ministry of Railways had directed the Center for Railway Information System (CRIS) to provide the facility of making and paying for tickets through ATVMs on the lines of Metro service.

CRIS has integrated ATVM with new software, where passengers will be able to do journey ticket, platform ticket, renewal of season ticket and recharge ATVM smart card on their own. Also, you will be able to pay it from any UPI enabled app and Paytm. Passengers will select the journey details in the ATVM then their fare will be displayed on the screen. The QR code will also be available on the screen if the passenger will opt for Paytm Freecharge, UPI QR Code payment. The QR code shown on the screen has to be scanned within 180 seconds. Facility has been started for the passengers to generate their own tickets from ATVMs and pay them through QR codes. Due to this, the passengers will not have to face the shortage of open money.

Separate arrangement for those who do not pay online

On the other hand, Koderma’s commercial supervisor Manohar Prasad and commerce cum reservation supervisor Manish Kumar Singh told that the person who cannot make payment from mobile, that person can make a smart card from the counter. For this a security deposit of Rs 50 is taken. There is also a facility of 3 percent discount on every recharge.
