Launch of ‘Mission Amanat’

Now Western Railway has started ‘Mission Amanat’ in association with Railway Protection Force (RPF). Under this mission, passengers will be able to easily track their lost luggage and get it back.

Goods safety and security

Under this rule, the safety and security of the passengers along with their luggage is also being decided. It was informed by tweeting on behalf of Western Railway that RPF of Western Railway has taken a new initiative to make it easier to get back the lost luggage.

Information to be given with photo

Under ‘Mission Amanat’ the details of the lost baggage along with photographs are posted on the website of Western Railway. With this, passengers can see the details of the lost luggage with photo on the RPF website http://wr.indianrailways.gov.in.

Similar recovery

A Western Railway official said that during the year 2021, from January to December, Railway Protection Force of Western Railway Zone recovered goods worth Rs 2.58 crore belonging to 1,317 railway passengers. After verification, the goods were handed over to their original owners.

Western Railway RPF works 24 hours under ‘Mission Amanat’. In another tweet, Western Railway said that Rs 68 crore was collected from passengers traveling without tickets from April, 2021 to December, 2021.
