IRCTC Ticket Booking New Rule: If you have not booked train tickets for a long time, then you may not be aware of the new rules of IRCTC. Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) has implemented some new rules regarding online tickets. IRCTC has asked passengers to ensure that they have completed their verification process, which includes e-mail ID and mobile number.
IRCTC’s new rule on ticket booking
Only after this process of verification is completed, a passenger will be able to book tickets online. Although the process is very easy and takes barely a minute to complete, you can do it comfortably from the comfort of your home. However, passengers who have booked regular tickets will not have to go through this process. IRCTC sells tickets online (e-Ticket) under Indian Railways. Passengers create login and password on this portal for tickets. And then take advantage of online booking. To create a login password, you have to provide email and phone number. That is, you can book tickets only after verifying email and phone number.
Online train ticket booking
To book tickets online by train, one has to visit the website of IRCTC. Before booking tickets online, passengers are asked to create a login ID and password on the portal. Therefore, passengers will now have to provide their registered e-mail and phone number to generate the login password. After the verification of both the things, any person can easily book the ticket.
Verification of email id and phone number
1- As soon as you log-in to the IRCTC portal, a new page or window will open for verification
2- Here you have to submit by entering your already registered e-mail and mobile number
3- Keep in mind that the page the right choice of verification and left the option to edit
4. If you change the details of e-mail, phone number, so can the edit option on the left
5- fill all the information correctly After that an OTP will be sent to your given phone number
6- Your mobile number will be verified as soon as you enter this OTP on the portal
7- Similarly the e-mail will also have to be verified.
