Indian Railways/IRCTC Latest Update: Railways has announced cancellation and divert and short termination of some trains.
Indian Railways/IRCTC Latest Update: After the havoc of the second wave of Corona subsided, the Railways has operated many special trains to bring the passengers to their destination. Apart from this, keeping in mind the festive season, the Railways has announced the operation of special trains from different cities.
In the midst of all this, the Railways has announced the cancellation and divert and short termination of some trains. Western Railway has announced the cancellation of 12 trains coming or going from Bandra, Ahmedabad, Valsad, Ujjain from December 1 to February 26, 2022.
Western Railway canceled these 12 trains…
- Train No. 05068 – Bandra Terminus to Gorakhpur Weekly Special Train, canceled from 3rd December to 25th February 2022
- Train No. 05067- Gorakhpur to Bandra Terminus Weekly Special Train, canceled from 1st December to 23rd February 2022
- Train No. 09017- Bandra Terminus to Haridwar, Weekly Special Train, canceled from 1st December 2021 to 23rd February 2022
- Train No. 09018- Haridwar-Bandra Terminus, Weekly Special Train, canceled from 2 December 2021 to 24 February 2022
- Train No. 09403 – Ahmedabad-Sultanpur, Weekly Special Train, canceled from 7th December to 22nd February 2022
- Train No. 09404- Sultanpur-Ahmedabad, Weekly Special Train, canceled from 8th December to 23rd February 2022
- Train No. 09407 – Ahmedabad-Varanasi, Weekly Special Train, canceled from 2nd December to 24th February 2022
- Train No. 09408- Varanasi-Ahmedabad, Weekly Special Train, canceled from 4th December to 26th February 2022
- Train No. 09111- Valsad-Haridwar, Weekly Special Train, Canceled from 7th December to 22nd February 2022
- Train No. 09112- Haridwar-Valsal, Weekly Special Train, Canceled from 8th December to 23rd February 2022
- Train No. 04309- Ujjain-Dehradun, Weekly Special Train, canceled from 2nd December to 24th February 2022
- Train No. 04310- Dehradun-Ujjain Weekly Special Train, canceled from 1st December to 23rd February 2022
These trains were short terminated
- Train number 09019 will be short terminated at Meerut from 25 to 28 October.
- In return this train (9020) will start from Meerut instead of Haridwar.
- Train number 09111 Valsad-Haridwar Special will be short terminated at Nizamuddin on 26 October.
- In return direction Train No. 09112 Haridwar-Valsad Special will run from Hazrat Nizamuddin instead of Haridwar on 27th October.
On the other hand, the Railways has decided to start the catering service once again. After this initiative of the Railways, packaged food will be distributed to the passengers from private vendors only. Till now there was only ‘ready-to-eat’ system in the train, but after the continuous complaints from the passengers, Indian Railways has now decided to start catering service in some selected trains in a phased manner.
