Why is the rent being increased?
Let us tell you that it has been decided to put these trains in the category of superfast, due to which the fares of trains are being increased. Railways has decided to increase the fare by Rs 75 per passenger in AC-1 and Executive class of trains.

What is the increase in sleeper fare?
Apart from this, if the fare per passenger has increased by Rs 45 in AC-2-3, chair car and Rs 30 in sleeper class, that means you will have to spend more money from now on.

How much more will it cost?
Railways has told that the increased fare has come into effect from October 1. From now on, passengers will have to spend Rs 450 more in AC-1 for booking a PNR. At the same time, an additional payment of Rs 270 will have to be made in AC-2 and 3 and Rs 180 in sleeper.

What is the speed of superfast train
Let us tell you that no increase has been made in any facility of food or passenger safety in these trains. According to the Railways, trains running at an average speed of 56 kmph are given the status of superfast in the time table. The average speed of Railways’ premium Rajdhani, Shatabdi, Duronto trains etc. is 70-85 kmph.

Mail express status to many trains
Railways has recently released a new time table, under which many trains have been given the status of Mail Express. After being superfast, lakhs of daily commuters will no longer be able to travel in these trains.
