Vande Bharat will run from Gorakhpur: The hopes of the people of Northeast Railway and Purvanchal are slowly starting to take wings. Railway Board has intensified the exercise of running Vande Bharat Express trains across the country. Tender process has started. By March, three to four trains will also start running on the routes of North Eastern Railway. In which one will connect Lucknow Junction (capital of UP) via its headquarters Gorakhpur and Patliputra (capital of Bihar) near Patna. Apart from this, there is a plan to run Vande Bharat between Lucknow to Delhi, Gorakhpur-Lucknow-Delhi and Gorakhpur-Lucknow.

Vande Bharat can run between Lucknow-Patliputra, Lucknow-Delhi and Gorakhpur-Delhi till March

The Barabanki-Gorakhpur-Chhapra route (about 425 km), the main route of the North Eastern Railway, has become capable of reaching the speed of 110 to 130 kmph of Rajdhani, Shatabdi, Duronto and Vande Bharat Express. The increased strength and speed of this railway has removed the long distance between Gorakhpur to Delhi and other technical problems. Actually Vande Bharat also runs on the lines of Shatabdi. That is, it is mandatory for this train to reach back to its original departure station within 24 hours. In such a situation, the route of Vande Bharat between Gorakhpur to Delhi has also been paved.
