Indian Railways: The Railway Board said in a letter to the Zonal Railways on Friday that the trains will now be operated with their regular numbers and the fare will be as normal as the pre-Covid rate. At present, 30% more fare is being charged in trains running as special than normal.


 

New Delhi. Indian Railways has announced to run the special trains started with special fare during the Corona period as normal. Let us tell you that the Ministry of Railways was running regular mail / express trains as special trains in view of Kovid 19. But now it has been decided to restore normal operation of these trains again.

That is, the service of Mail / Express Special and Holiday Special trains will now be like regular trains. These trains will again run with regular numbers. Also, instead of the special fare, the old regular fare will be applicable again.

More than 1700 trains will be restored

After this decision, more than 1700 trains will start working as regular trains in the next few days. It has also been said that the precaution and restrictions related to Kovid 19 will be applicable in all trains.

Apart from this, due to the Kovid protocol, at present, the arrangement of catering will not be started in the train during the journey. Sheets and blankets will also not be given to the passengers by the Railways.

No extra charge will be taken on tickets booked in advance

It has also been said in the circular that neither any extra fare will be charged nor any money will be refunded by the Railways on the tickets booked in advance.
