IRCTC gave information to the people through Twitter. He said that now passengers will be able to order fresh and hot food while sitting on their seats. Please tell that at present this service is available at 250 plus stations. If you too are traveling this Diwali, then don’t worry about the food at all. E-Catering is the best option for you. IRCTC also wrote in its tweet that for more information you can download http://ecatering.irtc.co.in or IRCTC Food on Track app. Apart from this, you can also call on 1323.

How to order food through e-catering?

1. To order food, first you have to login to IRCTC e-Catering website https:/www.ecatering.irtc.co.in/.


2. After this you have to enter the 10 digit PNR number in it.

3. Now you can order food from the list of cafes, outlets or quick restaurant service depending on your train.

4. After this, while ordering, you have to click on the payment option.

5. In this you can also pay money online or through cash on delivery.

6. As soon as you order food, the food will be delivered at your seat.
