In which it has been told that the name of Tipu Express has been changed to Wodeyar Express. The other train is Talaguppa-Mysore Express, whose name has also been changed. The name of this train has been changed to Kuvempu Express. Railway Board Deputy Director / CHG-I Rajesh Kumar has issued an official letter regarding the change in the names of the trains.

According to the Railway Board, the speed of 500 Mail Express trains was increased. According to the new timetable of Indian Railways, the speed of 500 Mail Express trains has been increased from 10 to 70 minutes. Apart from this, Railways has told that 130 trains have been included in the category of superfast.
