For those users whose account is not linked with Aadhaar, it has been decided to increase the ticket booking limit from 6 to 12 in a month. This will make it easier for them to travel more. At the same time, users whose IRCTC account is linked to Aadhaar, they can book a total of 24 tickets instead of 12 in a month.
How to link IRCTC account with your Aadhaar
- To link IRCTC account with your Aadhaar, first of all visit the official website of IRCTC at http://irctc.co.in.
- Here you have to login to your account.
- Here on the home page, you have to click on ‘Link Your Aadhaar’ in the ‘My Account’ option.
- After this, you will have to enter the information entered in your Aadhaar card, such as name, Aadhaar number and virtual ID. After which go to the check box and select the option of ‘Send OTP’.
- After this, OTP will be received on your registered mobile number, which you have to enter and select Verify OTP.
- After the KYC is completed, your Aadhaar will be linked with the IRCTC account.
- After this you will also get the confirmation link on the screen.
- After this, now you have to log out and log in again on IRCTC website.
- Now to check your Aadhar, KYC status, click on Link Your Aadhar link through My Account option on IRCTC website.
