New Delhi. Rail passengers are informed that if they are planning to travel the states of South India along with UP, Bihar and Mumbai by train, then definitely read this news a little. The movement of trains going to these states will be affected during the next ten days.


Let us inform that doubling work is being done on Jhansi-Kanpur Central section of North Central Railway. This line doubling work has also been completed. Due to this, the railways will now complete the process of non-interlock for doubling between Nankhas-Moth-Erich Road-Parona stations. Because of this, North Central Railway has decided to take a big mega block. Due to this, the movement of trains will be affected on many routes going to particular cities of the states of Maharashtra and South India, not only UP and Bihar.

According to the information, after the completion of the non-interlock work of this section, it will be inspected by the Commissioner of Railway Safety. After getting the clearance on this, trains will start on the double line. In such a situation, the movement of those trains will not be affected, which is born during the crossing. Till the completion of the interlocking work, the passengers can choose the second option for the journey to make their journey smooth so that they do not face any problem.

According to North Eastern Railway spokesperson Pankaj Kumar Singh, due to this work, trains running on UP, Bihar, Maharashtra, Karnataka, Chennai routes are being canceled and diverted. Passengers should check the timing schedule for these scheduled dates before starting their journey.

These trains will be canceled for these days

  • 12597 Gorakhpur – Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus Weekly Express departing from Gorakhpur on 14th and 21st December will remain cancelled.
  • 12598 Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus-Gorakhpur Weekly Express departing from Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus on 15th and 22nd December will remain cancelled.
  • 12103 Pune-Lucknow Jn departing from Pune on 21st December. Weekly Express will remain cancelled.
  • Lucknow Jn. 12104 Lucknow Jn.-Pune Weekly Express departing on 22nd December will remain cancelled.
  • 11407 Pune-Lucknow Jn departing from Pune on 14th and 21st December. Weekly Express will remain cancelled.
  • Lucknow Jn. The 11408 Lucknow Jn-Pune Weekly Express departing on 16th and 23rd December will remain cancelled.
  • 11109 Jhansi-Lucknow Jn departing from Jhansi from 12 to 22 December, 2021. Dainik Express will remain cancelled.
  • Lucknow Jn. 11110 Lucknow Jn.-Jhansi Dainik Express departing from 12th to 22nd December will remain cancelled.

Route of these trains will be diverted

  • 11123 Gwalior-Barauni Express departing from Gwalior on 12th, 14th, 15th, 17th, 18th, 19th, 21st and 22nd December will be diverted via Jhansi-Gwalior-Bhind-Etawa-Kanpur Central.
  • 11124 Barauni-Gwalior Express departing from Barauni on 11th, 12th, 13th, 15th, 16th, 18th, 19th and 20th December will be diverted via Kanpur Central-Etawah-Bhind-Gwalior-Jhansi.
  • 16093 Chennai-Lucknow Jn departing from Chennai on 11th, 14th, 18th and 21st December. Express converted route will be run via Jhansi-Gwalior-Bhind-Etawa-Kanpur Central.
  • Lucknow Jn. 16094 Lucknow Jn.-Chennai Express departing on 13th, 16th and 20th December will be diverted via Kanpur Central-Etawah-Bhind-Gwalior-Jhansi.
  • 19306 Guwahati-Indore Express departing from Guwahati on 12th and 19th December, 2021 will be diverted via Kanpur Central-Etawah-Bhind-Gwalior-Jhansi.
  • 15066 Panvel-Gorakhpur Express departing from Panvel on 11th, 13th, 14th, 15th, 17th, 18th, 20th and 21st December will be diverted via Jhansi-Gwalior-Bhind-Etawah-Kanpur Central.
  • 12589 Gorakhpur-Secunderabad Express departing from Gorakhpur on December 22 will be diverted via Kanpur Central-Etawah-Bhind-Gwalior-Jhansi.
  • 20104 Gorakhpur-Lokmanya Tilak Terminus Express departing from Gorakhpur on 21st December will be diverted via Kanpur Central-Etawah-Bhind-Gwalior-Jhansi.
  • 12107 Lokmanya Tilak Terminus-Lucknow Jn departing from Lokmanya Tilak Terminus on 11th, 13th, 15th, 18th and 20th December. Express converted route will be run via Jhansi-Agra Cantt-Tundla-Kanpur Central.
  • 11079 Lokmanya Tilak Terminus-Gorakhpur Express departing from Lokmanya Tilak Terminus on 16th December will be diverted via Jhansi-Agra Cantt-Tundla-Kanpur Central.
  • 22534 Yesvantpur-Gorakhpur Express departing from Yesvantpur on 15th December will be diverted via Jhansi-Agra Cantt-Tundla-Kanpur Central.
  • 15024 Yesvantpur-Gorakhpur Express departing from Yesvantpur on 16th December will be diverted via Jhansi-Agra Cantt-Tundla-Kanpur Central.
  • 15101 Chhapra-Lokmanya Tilak Terminus Express departing from Chhapra on 14th and 21st December will be diverted via Prayagraj-Manikpur-Khajuraho-Lalitpur route.
  • 15102 Lokmanya Tilak Terminus-Chhapra Express departing from Lokmanya Tilak Terminus on 16th December will be converted into Lalitpur-Khajuraho-Manikpur-Prayagraj Jn. route will be run.
