The board usually received complaints of disturbed sleep from passengers traveling at night. There are many reasons for this including co-passengers talking in loud voice.
Action will be taken against the passengers
According to the new rules implemented by the board, now no train passenger will be able to talk in loud voice on mobile. Nor will he be able to hear songs in a loud voice. On receiving the complaint from the passengers, action will be taken against such people by the Railways.
The accountability of the train staff will be fixed
Under this rule, on receiving a complaint from the passenger side, the train staff will have to immediately go to the spot and solve the problem. If the issue is not resolved, it will be the responsibility of the train staff. Orders have also been given to all the zones by the Ministry of Railways in this regard.
Often such complaints are found
Passengers traveling at night usually complain of loud talking or listening to music of the passenger nearby. Sometimes some people talk loudly at night. The board has also come to know that the railway scot or maintenance staff talks briskly during the patrol.
New rules of railways after 10 pm
- During the journey, no passenger will talk loudly or listen to loud music.
- Apart from the night light, all the lights will have to be switched off, so that the sleep of the passenger traveling with is not disturbed.
- Those traveling in the group will not be able to talk till late at night. Action can be taken on receipt of complaint.
- Checking staff, RPF, Electrician, Catering staff and Maintenance staff will work comfortably.
- The railway staff will provide immediate help to senior citizens, differently-abled and single women in need.
