Railway Recruitment 2023: Recruitment for more than 1100 posts in Railways, apply soon, salary will be good, know details

Indian Railway closes these services: During the lockdown imposed during the Corona period and then removed, the train services of the Railways have come back on track to a great extent. Despite this, the running of trains has not become completely normal. Till now all the trains are running as special with extra 0 number. In these, the train fare is also looking more than normal. It is expected that soon the services will be normal.

Many efforts are being made by the Railways for the trains to open on time and reach their destination stations on time. There is also discussion about implementing the new zero time table in this direction, for which the help of IITs has been taken. Many times the new time table has been implemented from October. Last year this could not happen due to Corona. Hopefully this time. However, the latest news is coming about 2 facilities of the railways.

Link Express and Sleep Coaches will be closed!
It is reported that to overcome the delay in trains, Railway Link Express is going to limit the number of operations and sleep coaches. According to Jagran’s report, there will be no need to add extra coaches or reduce coaches in trains. Restricting the Link Express will also save a lot of time and trains will reach their destinations on time.

What is Link Express and Sleep Coach?
An official of East Central Railway told TV9 Hindi that Link Express means two trains coming from different routes come and join at a common station and leave for the same destination. In return, they separate at the same station and leave on their route.

Talking about sleep coaches, those coaches which are separated as soon as the train reaches that station and the rest of the train leaves for their destination. Like you tell the neighbor that if you go to the market, then bring 2 kg of onions for me too. Similarly, trains coming from long distances bring the passengers to that station as well. Additional time is spent on adding and disassembling additional coaches.

Northern Railway is shutting down the facility in 8 pairs of trains
According to this decision of the Railways, Northern Railway is also going to stop this facility in 8 pairs of trains. According to officials, sleep coaches and Link Express services take time to connect and separate two trains at a station. Similarly, adding or cutting coaches also takes time. If the train is standing at the station, other trains are also disturbed. When one train is late, other trains are also late. It is a waste of time.

Facilities being closed in these trains
Now see that Delhi-Dehradun-Mussoorie Express has three sleep coaches till Haridwar at present. Separating them at Haridwar, the rest of the train leaves for Dehradun. At the same time, after the new change, the entire train will go till Dehradun. Similarly, services of Link Express and Sleep Coaches in Haridwar-Una Himachal Janshatabdi Express, Varanasi-Dehradun Express, Kalka-Sriganganagar, Okha-Dehradun Express, Kochuveli-Dehradun Express, Madurai-Dehradun Express and Howrah-Dehradun Express will also be stopped.

What are the advantages and disadvantages of passengers?
This decision of the Railways will benefit the passengers that the trains will run on time and they will be able to reach their destination on time. However, on long distance routes for which links and additional sleep coaches have been provided, the passengers of those routes will be inconvenienced. The number of trains in their routes will be reduced.

With an example, understand that the Seemanchal Express runs from Jogbani station in Bihar adjoining the border of Nepal to Delhi via Katihar. At the same time, a link express from Radhikapur near the West Bengal border comes to Katihar and joins this train. Both the trains leave for Delhi together. Even in return from Delhi, both the trains separate and leave on their respective routes in Katihar. If the new system is implemented in this train, then the passengers of Radhikapur route will have to get down at Katihar and from there go towards Radhikapur by another train.
