Indian Railways: In compliance with the orders of the Ministry of Railways, it is now being decided to run trains at the zonal level of Indian Railways as normal trains instead of special numbers.
Northeast Railway has announced to change the numbers of more than three dozen trains running under its control from 15th November as normal train. After this, passengers will now have to pay normal fare instead of paying special train fare to travel in these trains.
New Delhi. After the control of Coronavirus and with the improvement in the situation, now the railways has started the process of abolishing the tag of special trains. In compliance with the orders of the Ministry of Railways, it is now being decided to run trains at the zonal level of Indian Railways as normal trains instead of special numbers.
North Eastern Railway has announced to change the number of more than three dozen trains running under its control and run it as normal train. All these trains will be operated from 15th November in the same manner as the normal running trains before the situation of Kovid-19. After this, passengers will now have to pay normal fare instead of paying special train fare to travel in these trains.
According to Pankaj Kumar Singh, Spokesperson of North Eastern Railway, all Mail/Express trains are being run as Mail/Express Special and Holiday Special due to COVID pandemic. Now it has been decided that Mail/Express Special and Holiday Special trains included in the 2021 timetable will be run on regular numbers as before Covid.
The 37 trains which will be run with regular number from November 15, are operated for particular cities of the states like Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Gujarat, Maharashtra, West Bengal, Chhattisgarh, Jammu and Kashmir etc. With the regular number of these trains being operated, passengers will also get great convenience. There is no change in the present timings, stoppages, days and rake composition of these following trains:-
