Indian Railways: Attention! Railways canceled 107 trains due to Jawad cyclone, know train list immediately

New Delhi. In view of the cyclonic storm ‘Jawad’, Indian Railways has canceled its 107 trains. These are trains passing through the coastal areas of Andhra Pradesh and Odisha. Of these, 54 trains have been canceled in Up while 53 trains have been canceled in Down.



 

Jawad cyclone is moving rapidly towards the coastal areas of Andhra Pradesh and Odisha. Therefore, as a precautionary measure, the Railways has decided not to run 107 trains from December 2 to December 6. After the impact of the storm, a decision will be taken on running the trains again. On December 2, the Railways canceled five trains in Up and four in Down, while on December 3, the maximum number of 37 trains were canceled in Up and 30 trains in Down.

On December 4, the number of canceled trains in Up is 11, while in Down, 17 trains will be canceled. On the other hand, on December 5, 1-1 trains have been canceled in Up and Down. On 6th December also a train has been canceled as a precautionary down. An appeal has been made to the passengers from the railway side to come to the station only after getting information about their train.

Jawad will knock on Odisha’s Puri coast on December 5

Significantly, the deep depression of the air over the Bay of Bengal has turned into a cyclonic storm Jawad. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) gave this information on Friday. IMD Director General Mrityunjay Mohapatra said that the cyclone is likely to reach west-central Bay of Bengal near north Andhra Pradesh and Odisha coast on Saturday morning. Thereafter, it will move north-northeastwards near Odisha and adjoining Andhra Pradesh coast and reach Puri near Puri by noon on December 5.
