According to the West Central Railway, spreading fire or carrying inflammable articles in a train is an offense punishable under section 164 of the Railways Act, 1989.

Under this, a person caught with these items can be punished with imprisonment of up to three years or a fine of up to one thousand rupees, or with both. Do not carry inflammable materials like kerosene, petrol, firecrackers and gas cylinders etc., or allow anyone to carry them while traveling in the train, it is a punishable offense.

According to the tweet of the Railways, now passengers cannot travel with kerosene, dry grass, stove, petrol, kerosene, gas cylinders, matches, firecrackers or any object that spreads fire in the train compartment. .
