Many trains will be affected in Bihar due to yard remodeling and line capacity expansion. NI work is to be undertaken by the Railway Administration for infrastructure upgradation work related to Sonnagar yard remodeling and commissioning of third line of Sonnagar-Ankorha to expand operational capacity.
Indian Railways is continuously working towards the convenience of passengers and safe running of trains. In this series, Railways is doing yard remodeling and commissioning of third line at different stations. Now, NI work is to be done by the Railway Administration for the infrastructure upgradation work related to Sonnagar yard remodeling and commissioning of the third line of Sonnagar-Ankorha to expand the operational capacity.
Due to Sonnagar yard remodeling, construction of the third line and expansion in line capacity, more trains will be able to operate. Apart from this, the punctuality of trains will also improve. Due to this, many trains will be affected till 24th February. Cancellation, partial closure, diversion and rescheduling of trains will be done by Railways as follows.
