However, this rule will be applicable to only those passengers who are taking online tickets after a long time. Please note that this is not a rule for passengers who book regular tickets.
Why this rule was made
Railway services were closed for a long time during the Corona period. At the same time, after the reduction in corona infection, rail services have been started once again across the country. After which, after a long time, passengers booking tickets online will have to get their mobile number and email verified.

if you also login to IRCTC portal for online ticket booking, then a verification window will open in front of you. By selecting which you can enter your email and mobile. Apart from this, you can also change the number and email if you want. For this, the option of editing will be given on the left side, in which you can change your number and email. Let us tell you that when you do the verification process, a one time OTP will come to your mobile number, after which your number will be verified.
