You have the option of berth selection at the time of booking railway tickets. But every time you do not get the seat according to your mind. Actually railways also have limited seats.

For the convenience of the passengers, the railways have made strict rules related to berths. Before traveling, you must both be aware of these rules and follow them. If you get a middle berth during the journey, then you have to face many times.

In fact, passengers with lower berths often sit till late at night. In such a situation, the passenger with the middle berth must know the rules of the railway. Railway rules are different regarding middle berth. Railway rules are of great use, if you are aware of them then your journey will be comfortable. If you do not know about them, you are deceived.

Most of the time, the passengers sleeping on the middle berth open it as soon as the train starts. This creates a lot of trouble for the passenger with the lower berth. But according to the rules of the railway, a passenger with a middle berth can sleep in his berth only from 10 pm to 6 am. That is, before 10 nights, if a passenger wants to stop the opening of the middle berth, then you can stop him. After 6 am, the berth will have to be lowered so that other passengers can sit on the lower berth. Sometimes lower berths wake up late at night and middle berths have a problem, so you can pick up your seat at 10 o’clock as per rules.

During your journey, the Travel Ticket Examiner (TTE) comes to collect the ticket from you. Sometimes he wakes you up late and asks you to show your ID. Let us tell you that even TTE cannot disturb you after 10 pm. TTE is required to verify the tickets only between 6 am to 10 pm. No passenger can be disturbed after sleeping at night. This guideline is of Railway Board. However, this rule does not apply to passengers who start their journey after 10 pm. But the journey has started in the day, so you can feel free to speak for your rights.
