Orange Passport

White Passport

The Government of India issues White Passports to its officials traveling abroad on official work. Having a white passport, they are treated like government officials at the time of customs checking in any country. Whereas for white passport the applicant has to submit a separate application. In which he has to tell why he needs this passport. Having a white passport, they get many special facilities.

Diplomatic Passport

Apart from this, diplomatic passports are issued to high profile government officials, diplomats and government representatives. Diplomatic passports are issued to a total of five categories of people in the country. In which firstly the people holding diplomatic status, secondly such senior officials of the Government of India who go abroad for government work. Apart from this, the third are the A and B Group officers of the Foreign Service (IFS), the fourth are the immediate family of the Ministry of External Affairs and IFS and the fifth are the persons making official visits to the government, these include Union Ministers, MPs, politicians.

Let us tell you that diplomatic passport is considered to be the most powerful passport of India. Those who have this passport do not need a visa in most countries. Even if visa is necessary in some countries, they get visa on priority compared to ordinary passport holders. Diplomatic passport holders are exempted from security and searches.
