With this step, Indian tourists visiting the Philippines will now get more convenience than ever. Because the country has also introduced two new visa-free entry options in addition to its existing e-visa system.

Under the free visa, people will be allowed to visit the Philippines only for tourism purposes. Apart from this, people will be able to go there for any other purpose only through the e-visa system.

Visa-free entry for 14 days

If you have an Indian passport, anyone can stay in the Philippines without a visa for only 14 days for the purpose of tourism. This time limit cannot be extended nor can it be converted into any other type of visa. Entry will be allowed through all major airports, seaports and even cruise terminals for 14 days

Required conditions and documents

  • The trip must be for tourism purposes only
  • The passport must be valid for at least six months after the period of stay
  • Proof or document of accommodation such as hotel booking in the Philippines and return tickets
  • Proof of sufficient funds (such as bank statement)

Terms and conditions of free visa travel for 30 days

Indian citizens holding a valid visa or permanent residence permit of countries such as Australia, Japan, the United States, Canada, Schengen States, Singapore and the United Kingdom will get the facility of free visa travel for 30 days.

These will be the conditions for them

  • Valid visa from any AJACSSUK country
  • Passport with six months validity
  • Return or onward travel ticket
  • Clean immigration record in the Philippines
