Indian Overseas Bank Apprentice Recruitment 2025: The online process for recruitment to 750 apprentice posts in IOB has started. Online application can be made till 20th August on the official website of this bank. To participate in this recruitment process, online application fee has to be paid.
Indian Overseas Bank (IOB) has started the application process for recruitment to the posts of Apprentice. Interested candidates can therefore apply online. To apply, candidates have to visit the official website of IOB iob.in. Under this, 750 posts of apprentice will be recruited within the bank. The registration process has started from August 10, 2025 and its last date is August 20, 2025.
Selection Process
There will be a three-stage selection process for apprentice recruitment. Under this, apart from the online exam, there will be a local language test and a personal interview or personal conversation round. The local language test will be conducted at centers determined by the bank.
Pattern of online exam
The online written exam will be of 90 minutes. 100 questions will be asked in it, which will be of 100 marks. All the applicants will have to give the exam online on the specified date and time. For this, the candidates will use their own desktop, laptop, tablet or smartphone with camera. The exam will include general awareness, English, quantitative and logical ability along with computer or subject knowledge. Each subject will have 25 questions of 1 mark each.
Application Fee
For this recruitment process, general, OBC and EWS applicants will have to pay Rs 944. At the same time, women, SC and ST applicants will have to pay Rs 708 as application fee. Divyang and tribal applicants will have to pay Rs 472 as application fee. Keep in mind, once submitted, neither the application can be withdrawn nor the fee paid will be refunded. It cannot be applied in any other recruitment process either.
The eligibility criteria are as follows:
- Candidates applying online must have a graduation degree in any discipline from a recognized university in the country or an equivalent qualification recognized by the Central Government.
- The age of the candidates belonging to the general category and economically weaker section should be between 20 and 28 years as on 01.08.2025. Their date of birth should be between 01.08.1997 and 01.08.2005. Apart from this, relaxation will be given to Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), Other Backward Class (OBC) and Divyangjan (PwBD) candidates.
- Applicants for Apprentice post in a specific State must be fluent (reading, writing, speaking and understanding) in any of the local languages of the State (to be mentioned at the time of application).
