India Post GDS Recruitment 2021: Basic computer training course, will needed in this postal recruitment

Indian Postal Department has released the notification for the recruitment of 4264 posts of Gramin Dak Sevaks under the Uttar Pradesh Postal Circle. The special thing about this recruitment is that no examination will be conducted for the selection of the candidates.


Aspirants who are waiting for the vacancies to come out for government jobs have a great chance to take the job without appearing in the exam. In fact, the Indian Postal Department has issued a notification for the recruitment of 4264 posts of Gramin Dak Sevaks (GDS) under the Uttar Pradesh Postal Circle.

The special thing about this recruitment is that no examination will be conducted for the selection of the candidates. According to the official notification, the successful candidates in this recruitment will be selected from the merit list prepared on the basis of their 10th and 12th marks. The application process for these posts has started from 23rd August and will continue till 22nd September. Interested candidates can apply for these posts through the official website.

Required qualifications to apply:

To apply for these posts, candidates must have 10th pass with Hindi language. Also, candidates should have experience in doing basic computer training course of at least 60 days duration. Candidates of 18 to 40 years can apply for these posts. However, reserved category candidates will be given relaxation in upper age limit as per rules.
What is Basic Computer Training Course Certificate:

To get the job in these posts, candidates should also have Basic Computer Training Course Certificate of minimum 60 days duration. It is worth noting that this course is related to the basic knowledge of computer. Candidates should have a certificate of doing this course for at least 60 days duration. This certificate should be issued by a computer training institute which is run by the Central Government, State Government, University, Board or any private institution. However, this certificate will not be required for such candidates who have studied computer as a subject in class 10th, 12th or any other higher class.
