India-Nepal Tension: Nepalese Army seen in China-made tent on border, India gets alert

Two police heads fell after a ruckus at the border



A fortnight after the firing of the Nepal Armed Sentinel Force (APF) along the Indo-Nepal border, two police stations of the border area were gunned down. Sonbarsa Police Station Rakesh Ranjan and Prince Gautam of Kanhauli were removed. SP Anil Kumar said that JSI Rakesh Kumar of Dumra police station has been given the command of Kanhauli to JSI Ram Aqbal Prasad of Sonbarsa, Nagar police station.

DGP Gupteshwar Pandey, who arrived in Sitamarhi on Saturday, inquired from the SP about law and order and security arrangements at the border. Also ordered to remove both police station heads. After this both of them had to leave with demotion. However, the SP spoke of the removal for administrative reasons.  

It is worth mentioning that Rakesh Ranjan and Rajkumar Gautam had to face a lot of trouble in the tenure of 14-15 months. After the ruckus on the border, the police was arrested. No FIR has been lodged so far in the death of Indian youth in APF firing
