After tightening the noose of the Income Tax Department on the company, now big information has come to the fore in the investigation of the Central Board of Direct Taxes (CBDT). The CBDT has accused the Dolo-650 maker of giving free gifts of Rs 1,000 crore to doctors and people associated with the medical profession in return for promoting its product.

The Income Tax Department has made this claim after raiding 36 locations in 9 states of Bengaluru-based Micro Labs Ltd. on 6 July.
