Income Tax Recruitment 2022: Income Tax Department has taken out recruitment for talented sportspersons under sports quota. The application for this recruitment is to be done offline. Under Sports Quota Recruitment 2022 in Income Tax Department, there are vacancies for the posts of Tax Inspector, Tax Assistant and Multi Tasking Staff.

Essential Educational Qualification

• Income Tax Inspector- Graduate in any stream.
• Tax Assistant- Graduation Degree in any stream. Also data entry speed at the rate of 8000 key depressions per hour.
• Multi Tasking Staff – 10th pass.

Age Range

• Income Tax Inspector – 18 to 30 years
• Tax Assistant – 18 to 27 years
• Multi Tasking Staff – 18 to 25 years

Note- Reserved category candidates will get relaxation in upper age limit as per rules.

Sporting ability

1. The candidate should have participated in any national and international competition of any sport.
2. Must have participated in Inter University tournament organized by Association of Indian Universities or Inter University Sports Board.
3. Must have played for the State School Team in the National Tournament organized by the All India School Games Federation.

Salary Details

1. Inspector of Income Tax in Pay Level 7 of the pay matrix (as per 7th CPC) corresponding to pre-revised Grade Pay of Rs.46001- in P8-2 of Rs.9300-348001- of 6th CPC;
2. Tax Assistant in Pay Level 4 of the pay matrix (as per 7th CPC) corresponding to prerevised Grade Pay of Rs.24001- in PB-I of Rs.5200-202001- of 6th CPC; and
3. Multi-Tasking Staff in Pay Level I of the pay matrix (as per 7th CPC) corresponding to
   pre-revised Grade Pay of Rs.1800/- in PB-I of Rs.5200-20200/- of 6th CPC.
