Weather Forcast Today: The India Meteorological Department has predicted cloudy sky and rain for the next few days in the national capital. Mayur Vihar, Burari and Noida in the national capital received rain on Saturday.


New Delhi:At present, the process of rain will continue in various states in the country. This is because the Monsoon Trough is active and lies to the south of its normal position. It will remain like this for the next 4-5 days. However, a low pressure area over northwest Bay of Bengal off Odisha-West Bengal coasts, extending up to 7.6 km above sea level with associated cyclonic circulation, is moving southwestwards with height . It is likely to become more marked during the next 24 hours.

According to the IMD, a cyclonic circulation lies between 3.1 km and 5.8 km above sea level over central parts of east-central and adjoining north-east Arabian Sea. Due to these weather activities, there is a possibility of heavy rainfall in Konkan & Goa and Ghat areas of Madhya Maharashtra. At the same time, there is a possibility of heavy rains in East Madhya Pradesh during 8th to 11th, Vidarbha during 07th to 09th, Chhattisgarh and Marathwada during 09th to 11th, Gujarat, Saurashtra and Kutch on 08th and 09th August.

The Meteorological Department has predicted that there is a possibility of extremely heavy rainfall in East Madhya Pradesh on August 9. While there is a possibility of rain and lightning at isolated places over Sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim during 09th to 11th. During 08-11 August, Jharkhand, 07 to 11 August, Odisha, Assam, Meghalaya and Nagaland and on 10th and 11th August, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura may receive rain. Very heavy rainfall is very likely over Odisha on 07 and Gangetic West Bengal during 08-11 Aug.

The India Meteorological Department has predicted cloudy sky and rain for the next few days in the National Capital Region. Mayur Vihar, Burari and Noida of NCR received rain on Saturday. Due to this many areas have been flooded.
