The Patna Meteorological Center has issued a weather forecast, predicting rain in Bihar during Navratri. The department has stated that heavy rain accompanied by thunderstorms is expected in 22 districts of Bihar until September 27, which will make the weather pleasant.
According to the Meteorological Department, there is also a possibility of lightning along with strong winds at a speed of 30 to 40 km per hour in many districts of Bihar, including Patna and Samastipur. During this period, the temperature may also drop by up to three degrees Celsius.
Strong wind and thunderstorm alert
The Patna Meteorological Center has predicted heavy rainfall in Kaimur, Nawada, Rohtas, Aurangabad, and Gaya districts. Meanwhile, moderate to heavy rainfall is expected in Supaul, Araria, Kishanganj, Madhepura, Saharsa, Purnia, Khagaria, Katihar, Bhagalpur, Banka, Jamui, Nalanda, Jehanabad, Patna, Begusarai, and Munger, among other districts. An alert for strong winds and thunderstorms has also been issued for these districts.
Good rain in many districts of Bihar
The Patna Meteorological Center has reported that a new low pressure area may form in the Bay of Bengal near the Myanmar-Bangladesh coasts around September 25th. If this area strengthens, several districts in Bihar could receive heavy rainfall during Durga Puja. Its effects may begin to be felt from September 25th.
The Meteorological Department has predicted a drop of about three degrees Celsius in maximum and minimum temperatures over the next two to three days. During this period, maximum temperatures could range from 30 to 35 degrees Celsius, and minimum temperatures could range from 24 to 29 degrees Celsius.
